Jimo
Hi, My Muggle name is Claire, but I am known as Jimo in the Pole universe.
I have been poling for about 7 years now. I initially started because I wanted to try something different before I turned 40. My eldest daughter and I joined our first pole class, but my daughter decided to stop when she started Uni. I however continued and fell in love with the pole and aerial world.
I am a wife, a Mum of two daughters and a Nanny to two beautiful granddaughters! I also work as a specialist Nurse in the NHS.
I became an instructor six years ago, and I now have the following qualifications:
My passion is for the sexier side of pole, and I love dancing in my 8" heels. I have been privileged in the last 3 years to be invited to compere and guest perform at many competitions and shows, including:
My interest in pole competitions came about very soon after starting pole and entered my first competition in 2016. It was the Northeast Championships, and I was fortunate to win the beginners category. Since then, I have competed in many live finals as a solo competitor and as one half of a doubles team. I have dabbled with other aerial arts, but my love will always be pole.
I love watching my students grow in confidence and build their self-esteem. My teaching mantra is to always be positive and ensure my classes are fun and accessible.
I canβt wait to start this new adventure as one third of the Sky Sirens.
